Being a MAC Technique Classes Model

A few weeks ago I was asked by my lovely friend M to be a make-up model for the Technique Classes held at MAC Cosmetics in Kensington. Of course, I jumped at the chance and said yes straight away. I love having my makeup done and finding out different ways to do my makeup. The two-hour make-up course started at 6pm, I had to arrive at 5.30pm to get prepared and ready for the course. On the course, there are generally two models, two makeup artists helpers and then the makeup artist teacher. One of the Models has her makeup done before the students come in and then one Model gets her makeup done step by step to show the students each step. I was the Model who got her makeup done step by step.

The makeup products they used on myself and the other Model, the look we were sporting was a "Hollywood Day Glam" look. Slight smokey eye and nude lip with a flawless base. The Teacher and makeup artists went through each step, base, eyes, eyebrows, cheeks and lips.

The above pictures show the students at their make up stations, each station had all the tools and products needed for the look. The classes vary in size, in this class, there were 6 students.

As an added bonus I was allowed to pick out 5 MAC products to keep! YIIIIIPPPPPPEEEE! Sadly we weren't allowed to pick any brushes, only MAC makeup products. I've listed the products I chose below.

MAC Face and Body in NC2

MAC Lipstick in Rebel

MAC Blush in Peaches

MAC Fix +

MAC Paint Pot in Painterly

This was the finished look after being a Model, I loved the look as it fits perfectly for Autumn/Fall, my eyes looked stupidly big and natural. This is the perfect look for an ever day.
